- Double-entry, plain text, in Beancount. The site rebuilds from the ledger on every change; no server, no login, no cost.
- Period: from 1 April 2025 (18 months). The allied camp balance opened at £0.00 and is still £0.00: every cost so far was paid personally by the family (shown as "Funded: Family") or is a supplier invoice not yet paid (shown as "Payable").
- One entry per receipt, with an evidence reference (R-nnn). Receipts are kept privately and are not published.
- Only case- and project-related spending is published. Personal spending is left out.
- Class "case" = spent only on the case. Class "project" = AI and software tools used for the case and the wider project; the case share has not been split out.
- US-dollar receipts are converted at about £0.75 per $1, marked "~" as an estimate, unless the receipt states the pounds charged.
